We want people to be comfortable as they are. Our services are opened by a number of songs, some traditional hymns and others more modern.
After the songs, we will read a portion of the Bible and hear a sermon. Sermons are geared for the entire family and we encourage kids of all ages to stay in the sanctuary to worship together as a family.
After the sermon, we take an offering to support the church and to give back to God out of our resources.
As we prepare to leave, we have a time of testimony and prayer requests in which we can share the concerns of our heart or share how God is working in our life. This helps us to look for God’s activity in our lives in the week to come.
After we sing a final song, normally a hymn, we receive a blessing from the pastor and we are dismissed.
We encourage families to worship together and we encourage all kids to stay in the sanctuary for the entire service. We know and understand that kids (even our kids) can get ‘squirmy’ during church. If, for any reason, you find it necessary to leave the sanctuary, please feel free.
